Cate Blanchett made a hairy appearance at the weekend! At the premiere of her new film, the actress surprised everyone in a bizarre outfit that left a few questions unanswered.

Cate Blanchett appeared at the film premiere in flared leather trousers and pointed, classic pumps. She elevated the understated lower ensemble with a striking hairy top featuring long, blonde strands of hair cascading past her hips. The blonde hair wrapped around the actress’ upper body like a poncho. The color of the fake hair matched her own perfectly.

Incidentally, the leather trousers with flared legs seem to be Cate Blanchett’s new favorite. Just two days earlier, she wore the same trousers on the red carpet of the “Albie Awards 2024”. She appeared there with her 20-year-old son Roman.

The extraordinary piece was created by hairstylist Taiba Akhuetie and Francesca Murri, the new Creative Director of the Italian brand Fiorucci. Taiba Akhuetie specializes in extraordinary hair creations and writes on Instagram: “My medium is hair.”
