After four years of silence, author Charlotte Roche has returned to Instagram. However, fans and followers had to look very closely to recognize the popular presenter and author in the new photo.

Charlotte Roche has changed visually

“Well, how are you today?” With these few words, Charlotte Roche celebrated her comeback in public. There was also a new selfie showing the presenter and author lying in bed. She is presumably undressed or at least wearing something with a large neckline that reveals her cleavage. This is covered by an XXL tattoo consisting of a number of letterings. Charlotte Roche does not reveal whether this is a real tattoo. Another tattoo is in the middle of her face. The words “Rest in Peace, Ashley” can be read next to her eye.

But that’s not the only visual change. The presenter, who has always been known for her dark hair, is now blonde. The blonde hair is also adorned with strands of pink and blue hair, and Roche wears micro bangs.

In addition to the great joy that Charlotte Roche has returned with a sign of life, her post has also caused confusion. Many simply did not recognize the presenter. The new tattoos are also puzzling.

What’s behind the comeback?

Charlotte Roche has not yet clarified what her sudden comeback is all about, whether there is actually more behind it or whether it is simply a greeting from the silence. The last Instagram post dates back to April 2020, to mark the end of her podcast “Paardiologie” with her husband Martin Keß. At the time, she wrote: “The audience was wonderful again today, and the final chord sounds sad in a minor key. We say thank you and goodbye, let’s take a look again because there has to be some show – and let’s clear the stage because you’re with us, the show must go on, goodbye …”
